Job Description

Coordinates the use of fleet capacity to meet expectations of customer base, both internal and external.
Regularly monitors key indicators to insure the most effective use of company assets. Provides unmatched excellence in customer service as well as wise and productive use of all company resources control system.

* Manages use of fleet capacity according to the needs of the customer base and most efficient use of company assets in order to meet fleet utilization goals. Tracks managed accounts; keep full's/probe inventories, and uses data to improve customer service and fleet utilization.
* Initiates and receives regular communication from customer base and transportation customer service, and ensures successful customer satisfaction.
* Assigns delivery orders using Transportation Smart Systems to ensure inventory and order data is accurate, enabling proper forecasting of volumes to be delivered and to minimize delivery exceptions.
* Reviews daily driver comments and transfers information to relevant business units to improve the safety, accuracy, and efficiency of customer deliveries.
* Analyzes the planned versus actual reports to provide feedback to management for policy making to improve customer service. Communicates daily with Logistics Manager all customer service issues that impact operational and customer service satisfaction standards.
* Utilizes maps, GPS, or other vehicle locating and tracking devices to build effective, efficient, accurate delivery routes.
* Assists Logistics Supervisor in researching service failures, i.e.: retains, run-outs, product spills, product mixes, and any negative delivery situations that do not meet the highest standards of customer service.
* Maintain customer inventory/tank information in the managed account system.



Associate's Degree and 1-2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Petroleum experience is a plus. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Access.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Professional demeanor and attitude.
