Job Description


Promotes and sells Firebird Fuel Products and Services to Fleet Fueling Commercial Customers in compliance with corporate sales, policies, and objectives. Builds and maintains relationships with existing and potential customers ensuring unmatched service levels. Coordinates with other departments to achieve the company expectations.

Job Tasks:

Sells the company's product and services by developing new customers and prospects. (70%)

Maintains favorable communications with existing customers. Ensures unmatched service. Resolves customer requests and inquiries regarding routine and non-routine matters in order to ensure customer satisfaction. (20%)

Monitors market and competitors. Recommends program changes, enhancement and/or new market strategies to improve operating efficiencies or improve customer service. Responds appropriately to emergency situations. (10%)

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.


* Thorough knowledge of a professional or technical field, such as marketing or human resources in order to analyze, interpret, and apply information.
* Knowledge of department practices and procedures.
* Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, such as MS Word and Excel.
* Mathematical skill to calculate and interpret data using percentages, ratios, averages, and medians.
* Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, facsimile, copy machine, document shredder, and typewriter.
* Written communication skill to compose correspondence, reports, and proposals.
* Oral communication skill to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to make presentations outside work group.
* Interpersonal communication skill to work effectively with others in order to coordinate activities and arrive at mutual decisions.
* Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, customers, and the general public.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
* Ability to provide a high level of customer service by answering questions, providing accurate information, and responding to requests on a timely basis.
* Ability to provide support to other employees by being directly responsible for finding out what information, services, or support other employees need to do their job.
* Ability to plan and schedule activities over the course of several months, including regular review and coordination of activities required for implementation.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to work effectively with periodic supervisory guidance. General internal policies, guidelines, and procedures are utilized.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Must meet company insurability requirements.


Education and Experience:

Associates Degree and 1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have a valid driver's license and provide proof of insurance. Late model (less than 6 years old), 4-door, business appropriate vehicle required.
